Join us today on OCP with Bobby Cleveland and JJ. On last week’s program Bob and JJ gave the Director a 2024 employee evaluation. Apparently this prompted the Director to put a proclamation of his 2024 accomplishments. He is claiming DOC reduced violence and fostered rehabilitation. Bob and JJ will go over the Director’s claim and demonstrate his claims are horse hockey. We will discuss the violence in DOC which occurred in the last week of 2024. We will respond to the Directors claims of increasing officers retention rates while simultaneously sending out a memo saying officer must be available on days off and report to work if called on their days off. Obviously the Director says one thing and does another. The Director acts like making another mission statement is a milestone achievement. His new statement emphasizes compassion and rehabilitation yet his record and actions demonstrates hostility to both employees and inmates. Oh let’s not forget to ask, What rehabilitation programs?
