What happens when blood flows to the brain.

When blood goes to your brain, it delivers oxygen and nutrients that the brain needs to function properly. However, bleeding in the brain, also known as a brain hemorrhage, can be life-threatening and require immediate medical attention.
Bleeding in the brain can occur between the brain tissue and the skull, or within the brain tissue itself.
This prevents oxygen from reaching the brain, which can damage or kill brain cells. Symptoms include headaches, nausea, vomiting, tingling in the extremities, or facial paralysis.

A stroke can occur when an artery that supplies blood to the brain becomes blocked by a clot, or when a blood vessel in the brain breaks and bleeds. Symptoms include sudden numbness or weakness, confusion, trouble speaking or understanding, sudden trouble seeing, sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination, or sudden, severe headache.
Transient Ischemic Attack or (TIA) is a milder form of stroke that can cause sudden numbness or weakness, sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding, sudden trouble seeing, or sudden, severe headache.
The brain receives 15-20% of the body's blood supply, even though it's only about 2% of the body's total weight.
The body attempts to supply the brain with a constant flow of blood, even if other organs need blood.
