Steve's Southern belle cousin, Myrtle Urkel, desperately wants Eddie to escort her to her debutante ball. After Myrtle jumps in front of an oncoming car, risking her life to save his, Eddie reluctantly agrees to accompany her to the dance. Meanwhile, when Laura and Carl argue about Laura's choice of clothing, Laura learns that she must act like an adult in order to be treated like one.
