This is fascinating. I work in tech. I first experienced outsourcing about 15 years ago and it was with an Indian company. So I spent about 8 years or so working with Indian devs and their managing company. I even spent some time in India.
And everything he describes has been my experience about 95% of the time and I've found it absolutely mind blowing. This explains everything I've observed. Zero pride in work, constant throwing people under the bus, outright lying about abilities and experience both on resumes and in person and the most covering of your ass I've ever seen. It's completely consistent with 95% of Indians I've worked with. I've worked with many other people from all over the world and never seen anything like it with any other nationality.
I remember being in India (also, the public shitting is a very real thing), and we were staying at a very nice 5 star hotel. One day, there was a worker doing work on the ceiling in the main lobby. He was on a ladder and had a power tool that would cut drywall sitting beside the ladder on the floor. Instead he was using a hammer to hack away at a hole in the ceiling. I also stayed in 3 different rooms in that hotel. All outlets were in randomly different locations in the rooms and most let out sparks when you plugged anything in...
When he was describing the plumber, I thought of this...

I spent 14 years living in South America. This speaker's description of India is accurate for the culture in which I lived. The (formerly) high-trust culture of the Anglo west not only allowed for peaceful living, but was also an economic facilitator. God bless this man for having the courage to stand up and speak of it.
@HarryYouKnowWho
It is a very strong statement when he said showing kindness and doing things properly is a show of weakness.
@avx4281
Brutally honest.
@UzainRather
I used to hate jayant but after 3 years I have realised he is right... You can never change India... It has gone from bad to worst ..
@sanjibanichoudhury7517
this is absolute truth on ground, this is the ground reality
@mizterjay2
As an Indian, I 💯 % agree!!
Only one who can save India is Jesus! He’s the way, truth and life.
The west got its concepts of righteousness, justice, morality and empathy from Jesus Christ!
@kennyworth007
Wow. He confirmed all that I suspected about them from my dealings with them.
@fettuccine794
As an Indian myself I can confirm that Jayant Bhandari is 100% correct in his assessment of India....I know many Westerners might feel that he is exaggerating but he is 100% correct
@csp103 (edited)
South Asian here.
Can confirm.
Pure 100% truth.

As an Indian Excellent 100% truth all roots connected to casteism and illetracy
@naturallyandspiritually
Jayant Bhandari should receive India's highest civilian award. He is waking up million of Indians.🎉
@lennybrewster4673
Seems to be the case for all of the third world, but some people in the West think India is somehow immune to it. Great information
@millennialsecularandauthri3338
God bless you Saaarrrr
@bobd2028
Cold hard facts. Rebuttal is impossible. Bravo Jayant!
@jimpearson399
By far the most arrogant thing the British ever did was think they could fix India. Such hubris.
@ahmedelkhwaga2751
More people should listen to this gentlemen jayant
@xBlake
A lot of comments here saying he’s wrong but not giving any reason why
@mingwong8841
