NEW: Resident in Pennsylvania is reporting “Snow that looks, feels and sounds like styrofoam”

He shows you multiple areas of the snow and it’s all the same, this stuff needs to be sent off to be tested

One explanation for this is that it could be what called ‘Graupel Snow’ which is both denser and more granular than ordinary snow and looks similar to this but that doesn’t explain the feel of styrofoam being reported or the sound of styrofoam being reported by the resident

Graupel Snow is essentially snow hail
