Supporting Young Heart Heroes
In 2016, one-year-old identical twin sisters, Chloe and Kendall Roehling, were diagnosed with advanced stages of heart failure. In order to survive they both required heart transplants. Their parents founded the organization The Beat Goes On as a way to support furthering the research that has saved their daughters’ lives and to honor the lives of their family’s two organ donors. Chloe and Kendall's mom, Christine Roehling, joins us to discuss their story and a great fundraiser happening later this month. The Beat Goes On is presenting their Heart 2 Heart Benefit on August 18 at 6:30pm at the Corners of Brookfield. This charity fashion show, with "lite bites" and open bar, also includes a silent auction and a few surprises! For more information, visit TheBeatFoundation.com.
