Russia Rejects Donald Trump's Peace Proposal to End Ukraine War | Firstpost America

Russia has expressed outrage over the peace plan floated around by President-elect Donald Trump's team to end the war in Ukraine. Speaking at a press conference, Russia's foreign minister Sergey Lavrov rejected the proposal, saying Moscow is not happy with Trump's intention to keep the door open for Ukraine to join NATO. Moscow's criticism came days after the president-elect gave an interview to Time magazine, which named him Person of the Year. During the interview, Trump did not elaborate on his official peace plan but slammed Ukraine for using American missiles in Russian territory.
