This cuddly Pomeranian doesn't need to do much to get attention. Just look at his teddy bear appearance and adorable face. Today, this little cutie is kicking it up a notch. This dog has talents that are guaranteed to get stares from its adoring public.

Just watch him glide along on his motorized skateboard. He is all dressed up and exuding confidence as he looks from side to side. He's making absolutely sure that everyone notices him. The expression on his face and body language says “Hey! Check me out!” This clearly isn't the dogs first ride around the neighborhood.

Isn't he the cutest? He looks like the kind of dog you would see in a Hollywood movie or a TV commercial. If this dog had a single male owner, this little fur ball could be the ultimate wingman as every female that sees him would stop and ask questions. What a great conversation starter!

The Pomeranian dog breed is very perky and friendly and though they are quite small, they still do seem to need a fair amount of exercise. They absolutely thrive on training. They are a Spitz type dog that is named for the Pomerania region in north-west Poland and north-east Germany. They are extremely extroverted, sociable and playful.

Maybe you are wondering if they make good family pets? Well, Pomeranians can be quite suspicious of strangers and have a reputation for being somewhat yappy. They are quite good with children, but they are not the best choice for very young kids or highly active children because of their small size. You should never let young kids play with your Pomeranian without supervision.

Originally, the Pomeranian was bred as a sled-dog but over the years was bred down in size. This would explain why people say that they are a small dog with a big dog personality. People seem to fall in love with these dogs and it's easy to see why. Their faces are so appealing and almost foxlike. They are great in agility competitions, very obedient and always a good family friend.

You may wonder if a dog with such a thick coat can tolerate a warm climate? Well you can imagine how it would feel to wear a heavy coat in hot and humid weather. These dogs were bred for an arctic type environment so you need to be aware of the risk of heat stroke. Don't exercise your Pomeranian too much in very hot weather. Their coats are very insulating and this makes them very prone to overheating.

The Pomeranian breed has an average lifespan of 12 to 16 years so you are going to be with your furry friend for a long time. Dental care should never be overlooked. As your dog ages, exercise will still be important but should be at a slower pace. One thing is for sure. You will have years of enjoyment and companionship with this wonderful breed. You can certainly see how much fun this little ball of fluff is having on his skateboard, and that fun is always contagious for the pet owner too.
