Fear-Mongering and Lies: Mayor's Desperate Tactics to Distract from Pickering's Real Issues

The Mayor’s remarks are a laughable attempt at fear-mongering—a mix of many lies, name-calling, and outright nonsense. They cry “danger” while bringing their wives, daughters, and 8-year-old granddaughters to meetings and showing up at photo ops without a single police officer. If they truly felt unsafe, would they behave like this?
They’ve also resorted to mocking the freedom movement and labeling anyone who disagrees with them as “alt-right,” as if that’s the only card they know how to play. To top it off, they drag in unrelated American news articles to manufacture a sense of danger—what a pathetic joke.
And the idea that I control what others say? Ridiculous. I don’t dictate anyone’s opinions or actions. Even their outrage over me posting about one of my favorite movies, V for Vendetta, on November 5th - quoting that silly poem is grasping at straws.
This is yet another case of crying wolf, all because I’m over the target. Instead of dealing with real issues, they pump out laughable propaganda to distract from their own failures, wasting time and taking it out on the people of Pickering. All while avoiding transparency and accountability, using staff to narrate, and tax payers money to create. SMH
