Locals spoke of eerie whispers and faces glimpsed in the trees, warnings to stay far away. But Mark, an ambitious filmmaker, wasn’t one to believe in superstitions. He saw the woods as the perfect setting for his next horror project.

On a foggy evening, armed with a camera and flashlight, Mark ventured into the forest. At first, it was eerily quiet, the crunch of his boots the only sound. The deeper he went, the more the air changed. It grew colder, heavier, almost as if the forest were alive and watching.

As he scanned the area with his flashlight, the beam caught strange carvings on the trees—twisted faces locked in expressions of terror and pain. His unease grew, but he pressed on, filming everything. Suddenly, he heard it: a faint whisper, like wind through a hollow. But there was no wind.
