I understand Vive, social commentary, but I think his delivery fell short on a few levels. There is a clear social norm to feel entitled to feel that there needs to be immediate gratification for younger generations, primarily driven by the rapid access information and social media alerting systems. Unfortunately, speaking to that disconnect and need to realign people’s mindset of mentality, Vivek managed to portrait as country versus country. At least that’s how it was received by many. This is one of those cases where all things are true at the same time, we need cultural change to reaffirm through American mentality, companies are taking advantage of the H1B visa program to displace American workers at a discount of 60% in many cases and three there are skill gaps That can definitely benefit from the HB visa program. All these things are true simultaneously, but the media would like to take them in isolation and drive a wedge in between conservatives.
