New Years Eve Northern Lights Show

A slowly developing G4/Kp8 solar substorm was observed from Cheyenne, Wyoming on 31 Dec 24 at 10PM for about 30 minutes. It was faint and classified as a deep sky aurora but 30 sec exposures were more than needed to show the structure and colors of these northern lights. They continued on/off all night but at 7F, I called it quit early.
