Investigators have reviewed video of three men and a woman placing explosives in connection with the deadly attack in New Orleans, according to a Louisiana State Police bulletin.
This after The FBI said they do not believe 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar acted alone and are actively investigating the attack as an act of terrorism. They also revealed that multiple explosive devices were found in Jabbar’s truck along with an ISIS flag.
Police say Jabbar deliberately drove a pickup truck, around barricades and into a crowd of people celebrating New Years on Bourbon Street, in a very intentional way.

“This particular terrorist drove around onto the sidewalk and got around the hard target where we did have a car there. We had barriers there. We had officers there and they still got around. Now the wedges that you see out there as well, we knew that that had malfunction problems, and I want you to understand, let's say we put the wedge up and it got stuck. There is no way that uh ambulances could get in or out, people couldn't get in and out, so we knew that these were malfunction. So we did indeed have a plan, but the terrorist defeated it.”
After the vehicle stopped, Jabbar got out of the truck and opened fire. He was killed after getting in a shootout with the police
The pickup truck used in the attack was rented via Turo, which is an app that connects drivers, known as “guests,” with vehicle owners, known as “hosts.
