I think most of us would agree that the separation and divorce should happen. But what does their denomination, the WELS, say about it?

In addition, I know separation isn’t the same as divorce. It can lead to divorce, and usually once filed for, the rate for divorce increases (see article: https://www.marriage.com/advice/divorce/how-many-separations-end-in-divorce/).
