NEW - Heavy detonations on New Year's Eve in Berlin. The explosion of an illegal ball bomb rendered apartments in a building uninhabitable, the Morgenpost reports.

Alice Weidel (AfD) said we have seen "civil war-like conditions in the usual Berlin neighbourhoods: Attacks with ball bombs, 15 injured officers and 390 arrests. Citizens who just want to party are paying the price for migration policy on New Year's Eve."
