Landscapers Accidentally Ignite Leaf Pile

Occurred on November 15, 2024 / Mahwah, New Jersey, USA

Info from Licensor: "Our neighbors landscapers were trying to push the piles of leaves with the lawnmower...Some of the leaves got on top of the engine and once they were on the hot exhaust, they caught fire. The other workers brought over the leaf blowers, which only made things worse. My wife (Melissa) was watching the entire thing unfold and called 911 and also brought a small hose out to help control the fire. Mahwah NJ PD and FD showed up and took care of the fire."
