Former GOP Governor Says Republicans Need To Ask Trump To Resign

Former GOP New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman said Tuesday that the final straw that led her to call for President Trump to step down was the way he acted in Europe earlier this month.

Whitman, the former Environmental Protection Agency head under President George W. Bush and who admittedly voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential elections, called on her “fellow Republicans” in the Los Angeles Times last weekend to push for Trump to step down from office.
