Completely agree. Why are even talking about bringing more immigrants in (H1B?! We shouldn't even be thinking about immigration until the border is closed, the criminals deported, ICE funded, sanctuary cities denied all federal funding, and a 100% moratorium on immigration implemented for at least 1 year. We need to stop the bleeding before we even consider the potential risk/benefit of more wounds.

Make no mistake about it, I will abandon Trump over this in a New York minute! (I hit 3500 doors for Trump and served as a Republican Election Attorney Trump said he was against H1B Trump flips and he’s on his own Good luck, Trump!

American citizens also deserve a place in state universities, specifically California state universities and junior colleges.

The simple solution to the "sociopathic" tech oligarchs is to remove all trade barriers and protections from world competitors to their products. If Elon Musk wants free labor markets, then, propose free EV markets -- no more trade tariffs on Chinese EVs. Tesla's stock price would drop to $0 in 1-year were Chinese EVs -- better quality / lower price (like foreign workers) ... to crush Tesla.

I will be interested to see if the migrant flights into Hanscom Airport (KBED) Bedford MA via Swift Aero and Global X stop after Trump is back in office....

Trump wants to cut oil and gas (domestic products) prices to half. If he allows iPhone, chip, and many IT products that produced outside of American continue going up. Then what is the gain of Americans? Talking about oil and gas industry is to talk about oil and gas workforce. reducing American workforce income is NOT 'American First." Raising tariffs and giving the tariffs to oil and gas industry so that they can offer to cut domestic prices for all Americans might be a way to go. Don't kill Oil and gas industry. Oil and gas industry is the only industry that Americans alone still lead the world. Don't kill American own industry / Chemistry / Chemical engineering.

You're absolutely right about immigration. We need an indefinite moratorium and a national referendum on whether we should ever end it. But you're dead wrong about who's affected by immigration and WHY. 1) "Black and Hispanic" is a socio-political, economic, historical fiction. The history of slavery and its descendants is extraordinary and singular. See, e.g., "When Affirmative Action Was White", "The Color of Law", "The Half Has Never Been Told". 2) Black Americans don't have the "least skills." We have the least opportunity. That's why we are overrepresented in menial jobs. It's all that was open to us, and now Biden has flooded even those low-wage jobs while subsidizing illegals with our tax dollars. 3) Black Americans in STEM, degreed and highly skilled non-degreed, were shut out of tech long ago. We saw the writing on the wall, and if you had asked, we could have told you that Indian is the new White. Until Bacon's rebellion, we all understood that the fight is workers of all colors vs. the moneyed elite. I'm happy to see that you're back in the fight, and I hope that we can now, as Americans, work together for justice for us all.

H-1B visas would be not as necessary if the US education system was not filled with problems. These problems result in competency issues from the various diploma mills around the country.
