Sydney sees in 2025 with its biggest ever fireworks display

Sydney welcomed the 2025 new year on Wednesday (January 1) with the city's biggest ever fireworks display, featuring a golden waterfall effect falling from the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. The 12-minute spectacular featured 23,000 individual pyrotechnic shots and more than 13,000 aerial shells.
