Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham has offered up the state’s vast public lands
to support President Donald Trump’s ambitious deportation agenda when he returns to office.

Buckingham, a former surgeon turned state official,
has agreed to make Texas’s 13 million acres of state land available
for what could become the largest deportation operation in U S history.

The centerpiece of this initiative is a 1,402-acre ranch in the Rio Grande Valley,
already earmarked for potential use as a detention facility.
