Kid Invites Police To His Birthday Party

You know why we are always excited about videos with kids? Because it is always a thrill to see what these little humans have in store for us! You can never predict what they will do, and that is so exciting!

All children have boundless energy and an eager desire to learn. We know that they constantly explore their own world from the moment they are born. They always strive for more, to see further, to move better, to know more. That’s why they are so special and unique. They touch, they taste, they laugh and play and all of it is a part of their quest for knowledge.
Parents are so often exhausted by the endless “why” questions whose answer is always followed by another “why”. But for children, the question is imperative. They just have to know. And sometimes that eager desire to engage with the world is energizing for those exhausted parents.

Take this young one, Zachary, for instance. He is having a birthday party and he is turning five. His very favorite thing in the whole worls is people in uniforms, especially police officers. So, Zachary does the natural thing, the thing he thinks a grown up would do: he picks up the phone and calls the police… not once but a few times.

Well, why not? We understand that it’s not a good idea to call 9-1-1 over a birthday party invitiation, but let’s cut the kid a break. It is his birthday party, and when we were kids we were told that our wishes and dreams will always come true for our birthdays.

This five year old child has a knack for doing naughty things but he is so cute in the process. The way Zachary speaks combined with the way his looks, makes it impossible for his parents and the police to get angry with him. In the end, he has made his fifth birthday into an event nobody will ever forget by inviting the police to his birthday party.

We can hear the exhaustion and embarrassment in his poor mom’s voice as she apologizes on the phone to the emergency dispacher. Zachary’s mom may be embarrassed because of her son’s action, but the women she’s speaking to doesn’t see it that way. She just laughs her heart out in the most honest way and never once does she sound annoyed or agitated. So, when the big day arrived, the police also arrive at Zachary’s door. He politely invites them to come in and he is totally taken by surprise.

These superhuman policemen even give Zachary a present, a police watchdog in a uniform. What is more, Zachary’s friends have the chance to get in the police car, of course Zach is the captain with a police hat and a vest on his body, and they all together sing “Happy birthday” to him. Some dreams do come true, don’t they?
