This should be of interest to many that have worked within their States. Utah is in a very unique situation with an election in 2024 that was completely turned upsidedown. Juan has told this story in smaller bites a few times but this is from Phil Lyman himself. The dynamic here is that the Ship of State has been taken over by Pirates. Juan calls it the Piracy Party. This a great metaphor for a rogue group "deciding they own the STATE OF UTAH" and damn any convention or election we make the RULES.
Juan explains that more people in UTAH should care but that it is the "get along go along" attitude that has created this mess.
It sure seems to me that these Pirates are not just having a good time with the tax-payers money they are laundering it to the highest bidder. This really does make me queasy and I don't get seasick. Pick up your weapon and use your voice and help out if you can. Otherwise sit back in port and wait until Jack Sparrow shows up....
