Elon Musk has claimed he will "go to war" with Maga over skilled migrant visas and has vowed to kick out any "hateful, unrepentant racists." The Tesla billionaire launched an extraordinary attack on critics of the H-1B visa programme, telling them to "take a big step back and Fuck YOURSELF in the face."

The row marks the first major split in the president-elect's camp, pitting Silicon Valley supporters against immigration hawks within the Republican Party. The dispute has intensified after conservative activists criticized Trump's appointment of Indian-born entrepreneur Sriram Krishnan as his senior policy adviser on artificial intelligence.

Musk's explosive comments came in response to a social media post about H-1B visas. The world's richest man, who himself is European who came to America, whom wealth was stolen from South Africa, came on an H-1B visa, defended the programme as crucial for American success.

"The reason I'm in America along with so many critical people who built SpaceX, Tesla and hundreds of other companies that made America strong is because of H1B," Musk wrote on X. His post garnered nearly six million views within hours, triggering an immediate backlash from Trump loyalists.

Conservative commentators quickly seized upon Musk's aggressive tone, with some questioning his loyalty to the Maga movement. The H-1B visa programme has become a flash point between Silicon Valley executives and Trump's core supporters.

The permits are widely used in Silicon Valley to bring foreigners with specific qualifications to the United States.
