In this film, the second of fourteen made by Basil Rathbone, he utters this catch‑phrase for the first time while explaining to Watson why he's conducting a musical experiment on common house flies. Of interesting note, this phrase never appeared in any of short stories or novels written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
