Beware of this spirit as you enter 2025…. It is stalking us now. The devil seeks to divide the MAGA movement before Trump takes office.

Allow me to clarify, as some will possibly get triggered.
1. In just two days after Christmas we have entered a period of time where the winners of the last election are dividing and cancelling each other just like the left cancelled us. Satan intends to divide the MAGA movement before Jan 20th.
In short, Elon Musk posted about why we should talent scout the world’s best engineering and tech talent and use H-1B visas. Vivek chimed in with a post on American culture and how parents don’t discipline their chikdren for achievement like foreign cultures. Well this lit a storm. F bomb dropping Laura Loomer went after Elon and Trumps new Indian AI consultant. Elon put her in twitter “time out” for 12 hours and this lit a storm. Lots of racist language spilled out from the anti-immigration right.
Bannon and his crew joined the conflict pointing out how Silicon Valley Big Tech despises America and use the H-1B visa to rob Americans of jobs by giving them to cheap indentured servants they pick up through H-1B visas. The visa is used and abused for all kinds of profit gouging that cost Americans jobs.
All sides have a point. All are good people serving Trumps agenda but all are about to self destruct. They agree on 90% but will divorce over 10%.
Christians in the MAGA movement have a role to play in fixing this. “Blessed are the peacemakers.”
2. The takeaway for us is: We don’t see our brethren realistically when we are offended. They were ALL good till we disagreed and then they became ALL BAD.
3. This is especially evident in those who are obsessed with church leadership failures. The IHOP, Gateway, Morningstar, Daystar, Michael Brown controversies being the latest. People become hateful if you don’t join their attack. If you are more grieved than angry you are suspect. If you are weighing information and not responding with appropriate speed or fury you are numbered with the transgressors. We are entering the early stages of an era of the last days “lawlessness” where “many” are “offended and betray one another.”
4. If you had a wrong political spirit in the last election and hated the other side you are especially susceptible to this spirit of charismatic cancel culture.
5. Not far from this spirit will be the antisemitism that follows. A German jew named Martin Buber pointed out in the Nazi era that before the jews were put in camps and exterminated they were shown in propaganda to be like rodents. The goal was to dehumanize jews so there would be less resistance to extermination… like you would do with a filthy rat. Buber said you went from I/Thou to I/It. A “thou” is a person, even an enemy, made in the image of God. An “it”!is destructible. Too many Christians treat each other and their ideologic enemy as an “it” that they can condemn to destruction.
6. All is not negative however. The Lord says He will give great joy this year to many. Why? Because this is a year to see answered prayers. As we learn to discern the things God wants us to get involved with we will be more fruitful. You will have prayer authority in the area of your assignment.
