The United States And Mexico Signed The Gadsden Purchase, A Pivotal Agreement That Reshaped The American Southwest. U.S. Minister To Mexico, James Gadsden, And Mexican President Antonio López De Santa Anna Formalized The Treaty In Mexico City. The U.S. Senate Ratified It With Amendments On April 25, 1854, And Mexico Finalized It On June 8, 1854.
