An incredibly beautiful production with Rudolf Nureyev and Ghislaine Thismar. Many complex numbers, Nureyev was almost 44 years old when he danced in "Marco Spada", but his acting skills, artistry and musicality are simply fantastic. Beautiful costumes and sets. Pierre Lacotte preserved the name of this performance in the legend, which attracted attention during the time of its stage existence. The reconstruction of the ballet, of course, is not the original, and it is most honest to define it as "retro", but this production deservedly entered the masterpieces. "The works of Auber are the minor creations of a great musician..." - Gioachino Rossini. Italy, 1982.
