Full speed ahead - China completing world's longest high-speed railway tunnel.

The 22.5 km Tianshan Shengli tunnel links the southern and northern parts of the Xinjiang autonomous region, Northeastern China.

It reduces travel time in the Tianshan Mountains from hours to only 20 minutes once in operation in 2025, significantly aiding the local economy.
