We all know instrument bows come in different sizes, but beyond the obvious what are the key differences between violin, viola, cello, and bass bows? Can you use the same bow for different instruments? Hear Ernest Bisong and Greg Byers of Minneapolis String Project discuss the different types of bows, their experiences and what they enjoy performing with.

In the video, Bisong and Byers are joined by bandmate and guitarist Dave Feily. Bisong, a violinist, plays using a CodaBow Joule, a carbon fiber violin bow that gives a bright, clear tone and is fully customizable.
