FLORAL GIN BASIL SMASH
t’s time to harvest elderflowers. They should be picked just before the rain, as the pollen, which gives the syrup a wonderful aroma, is needed.

Recipe:
60ml-2oz FLORAL GIN
15ml-½oz LIME JUICE
15ml-½oz LEMON JUICE
30ml-1oz ELDERFLOWER SYRUP
12-16 BASIL LEAVES

An easy trick to crush basil leaves is to shake it hard with ice in the shaker first. Then add the remaining ingredients and shake again.

Fine strain into chilled glass and garnish with fresh elderflower. It smells great.
