Why doesn't the Council of 12 predict the future?

Okay...this one gets into the "convoluted universe" (to use a Dolores Cannon term). One of the questions that I often see, especially related to the ascension/new earth/the event is...WHEN. Humans are so hooked into the dimension of time. So, I asked Ra, in this episode of The Expansion Project, WHY, why do they always seem so cadgey and vague when we ask them WHEN something is going to happen.
