South Korea Plane Crash: At Least 120 Killed, Jeju Air CEO Apologises

Tragedy struck South Korea as a Jeju Air Flight, carrying 181 on board- including passengers and crew from Bangkok, crashed at Muan International Airport on December 29. The plane landed without its landing gear, veered off the runway, and burst into flames after hitting a wall. At least 120 fatalities have been reported, with only three survivors rescued so far. Eyewitness footage showed the wreckage engulfed in fire as firefighters and rescue teams worked tirelessly to battle the blaze and search for more survivors. Jeju Air CEO Kim E-bae expressed condolences while authorities investigate possible causes, including a bird strike. This devastating crash marks South Korea's deadliest aviation disaster since the 1997 Guam tragedy.
