Large waves wreak havoc on coastal communities and fisheries in Peru

Large waves continued to strike the coast of Peru on Saturday, wreaking havoc on communities, especially in the regions north of the capital, Lima. The large waves shocked fishermen in the Tumbes region as they prepared to go out to sea, with many seen running to escape the strong waves while others struggled to protect their boats.
