time for some necessary roughness!

Rob Pattenaude, the Head Brewer @fcbrewing talks about his beer journey and how his tastes changed over time, which was fascinating and worth the listen.
We also discussed how guest taps for beers from other breweries work and some of Rob's favorite breweries. Finally we talked about the source of the brewery's amazing iconography (as seen in the tablecloth in shot), it's the Hispanic Loteria!

We do a taste of the Chingon Double Hazy IPA which has a strong fruity aroma, great taste and packs a punch with more than 8% alcohol. Great color too! This is the 4th bet in this year's Chingon Super Series and it's really good!
From fcbrewing.com: "This Juicy Hazy Double IPA begins intense tropical aromas from New Zealand and American hops. Waves of tropical, sweet citrus and piney hop flavors deliver on the aromatic promise. The finish is slightly sweet and satisfyingly polished"

Next up we tasted the very boozy and confusingly tasty 'Necessary Roughness' an Cream Ale - Imperial / Double. It left Ken's mouth wondering what was going on with the tastes.
