Dino Crisis - Retro Gaming Review - Silent Evil Podcast 1

The Silent Evil Podcast returns for a new round of survival horror gaming fun with a retrospective and review. I am joined by my ole pal, Cameron Curbelo who you might remember from a handful of the Old Man Orange Podcast episodes in the past. We decided on starting off with the ultimate horror classic, Dino Crisis. Capcom's 1999 spin off of Resident Evil Biohazard series but with dinosaurs instead. Giving it a Jurassic Park experience. It was created by Shinji Mikami and filled with some experimental gameplay to test the waters for Code Veronica and other games in the future. With one of the best female protagonists of all time, Regina, and her special operations crew's investigation of a secret island research facility. Think Lost World's Site B.

So, we have gone through another playthrough round and discuss our thoughts on how well this game holds up today, our first time experiences, the creative gameplay choices it offers, the solid enough storyline with its 3 alternate endings, the sequels, puzzles, cutscenes, and how Capcom really needs to either make a brand new game or remake this classic in the RE Engine.
