This DEPRAVED Gaza Media Coverage Should Be A War Crime!

Right, so as has been reported fairly widely, the last hospital in Northern Gaza, the Kamal Adwan hospital, has finally fallen at the hands of the IDF, but quite how this news was reported very much strays from the pointedly accurate to the downright depraved and given the ramifications of this final action in northern Gaza, to take out the last medical facility in the area, to set fire to the building, to force those inside out if they were able to move, to arrest medics and patients all on the over-used, widely condemned and widely falsified allegations that the hospital, just like every other building Israel have razed in Gaza was a Hamas base of some sort, should underline that we’re bearing witness to another war crime, another hospital falling, Gaza being rendered uninhabitable again as our governments and officials stand by and do and say absolutely nothing, but when the media are spinning this cataclysmic event to dilute the atrocity Israel has committed too, they absolutely must be called out for that too, frankly it’s such dishonest framing it should be a war crime in itself in my view, such is the atrocious distortion of what is going on and it’s one of those events that reminds me why I set this channel up, to call out media dishonesty, but this is up there with the very worst I’ve seen and it’s unforgivable.
Right, so the Kamal Adwan hospital has fallen. Doctors have all be forced out, people who hung in there for the sake of their patients, despite being starved of all resources, absolute selflessness and yet one doctor, Waleed Albouti, managed to transmit one final, desperate message asking for prayers and forgiveness if what they did fell short of anyone’s rights. I don’t think any sane person could ever suggest such a thing.
Last night the IDF invaded the hospital, arresting staff and giving others present just 10 minutes to leave the hospital.
The previous day 5 staff members and numerous civilians were killed in the hospital grounds as Israel carried out airstrikes and deployed robotic bombs, because nothing says surgical strike, or targeted strike quite like that does it? 50 people have died in the grounds since last Thursday. But then with Hamas not present, that was never the purpose, the purpose is to take down the last bastion of civilian infrastructure in northern Gaza that permits life to persist there, the hospital had to go to enact the General’s Plan, to clear northern Gaza of Gazan people. It is ethnic cleansing, it is one of the final blows.
Patients were forced out of the building at gunpoint, according to the director of the Palestinian health ministry this was some 300 people, including those with moderate to severe injuries, all of whom were forced out, were told to take off their clothing in the freezing weather and were marched out in lines, there’s footage of this across social media, with orders to go to the ruins of the Indonesian hospital, already rendered useless and still being attacked by the IDF despite that, but of course you have to consider Kamal Adwan being a hospital, that not every patient can evacuate and what of them? Left inside.
The World Health Organisation has reported that some 60 health workers and 25 patients on ventilators were still in side when the IDF began setting fire to critical departments of the hospital. Those left inside, well, well it’s a horrible fate that faces them.
Amongst those arrested includes prominently Kamal Adwan Hospital’s director Hussam Abu Safia. He was arrested on charges of, well it’s just ludicrous what Israel is getting away with, but he was arrested for the crime of refusing to leave the injured and patients without medical care. Well what a fiend that must make him then! Needless to say, nobody knows what’s become of him along with other individuals arrested byh the IDF at Kamal Adwan, but it’s all part of the depraved systematic dismantling of healthcare in a part of Gaza that Israel is hellbent on achieving, war crime as that is, but they don’t care, who ever holds them to account after all?
The accusation that this was yet another Hamas stronghold, has elicited a statement from Hamas saying:
‘"The criminal occupation army storming Kamal Adwan Hospital and the brutal massacres in its vicinity; Zionist war crimes taking place amid international inaction and complete complicity from the US administration, a partner in the campaign of extermination in the Gaza Strip.
The storming of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip by the criminal Zionist occupation army, and forcing the medical staff, patients, wounded and displaced persons inside it to leave at gunpoint, after the intensification of the barbaric shelling of the hospital’s surroundings last night, which led to the martyrdom of more than fifty people, including five of the hospital’s medical staff; is a war crime that is added to the long series of crimes committed by the criminal enemy against our people, amidst the continued global and international failure to play their role in protecting civilians and civilian facilities.
We hold the criminal Zionist occupation, and behind it the American administration complicit in the brutal war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, fully responsible for the lives of the patients, the wounded, and the medical staff working in the hospital, after their complete isolation from means of communication and contact, and the news leaking about their exposure to abuse, and the arrest of a number of them and their being taken to an unknown location.
We call on the international community, the United Nations, and all countries and active parties to take immediate action and break the cycle of silence and helplessness in the face of this genocide, and to take measures that will stop the Zionist aggression and the ongoing genocide against our people, and to work to hold this rogue entity and its terrorist leaders accountable for their crimes against humanity."’
Who are the real criminals here eh?
But it’s the media that really need rinsing as well as Israel for the depravity on show here, because what is happening here is forced displacement, what is happening here is ethnic cleansing, what is happening here are war crimes and the mainstream media are straying awfully close to complicity in how they are deliberately choosing to portray this set of events.
The BBC for example, amongst the worst for seemingly bending the knee and kissing the Zionist ring, and that may or may not be a euphemism headlined the raiding, arrests and evicting of staff and patients from Kamal Adwan as ‘Israel forcibly evacuates Kamal Adwan hospital in northern Gaza.’ Forced evacuation? You will be removed for your own good is it? Well what about those being left inside to burn as already mentioned? It isn’t an evacuation unless everyone is removed and that isn’t the case. Evacuation implies removal for their safety, yet Israel have demonstrated on all too many occasions they have scant regard for such matters and having killed 50 people in the hospital grounds since last Thursday, I can only conclude they only got these people out to save ammunition. Evacuating them to the wreckage of a hospital already destroyed yet is still apparently being targeted, isn’t taking people to safety either as the word evacuation implies. This is disgusting cover for Israeli war crimes, there is no such thing as a forcible evacuation, my contempt for the BBC has only grown, but they aren’t alone.
Sky News went with ‘Israel raids Gaza's Kamal Adwan Hospital and evacuates remaining patients’ You don’t raid a place to evacuate the people inside, that is ridiculous contradiction of terms and again, this isn’t an evacuation, these people either leave or get burned down with the building.
The Washington Post put out the weirdest article I’ve found though, titled ‘Gaza’s Kamal Adwan Hospital forced to evacuate by IDF, director says.’ Again, it’s that word evacuate, it is this time being attributed to director Hassam Abu Safia, who the IDF arrested, but it has been attributed to him in an article that came out yesterday, following the forcing out, I won’t use the word evacuate, of medical staff and patients, so when did the Post secure this quote, because Hussam Abu Safia was arrested by the IDF? I couldn’t find another source to corroborate this, but I did see an interview clip, it’s not clear who the interview was with, of a lab worker at Kamal Adwan called Shurooq Saleh Khader Al-Rantisi, who described staff and patients being stripped and marched away, but she was asked what had happened to Hassam Abu Safia, and she said he remained in the hospital after they were made to leave, the quote from the video clip being:
‘His (Dr Hassam) fate is unknown. We got out with him still there with the rest of the staff and patients.’
We know some staff and patients on ventilators were left behind, we know Dr Hassam was arrested by the IDF, or at least that is what we’re led to believe, so when did the Washington Post get their quote from him? Make sense of that one.
Once again the mainstream media is failing to hold Israel to account, is excusing and diluting their actions, so how can you trust them to keep you informed. Alternatives are there, independent media is there, this channel will support the good outlets, and hold the big ones with apparent agendas to account for that. Do support your favourite alternative media so they can keep doing the same and keep doing the real journalism bigger outlets repeatedly fail to.
Meanwhile, speaking of losing their grip, it seems Israel’s new puppet government in Syria, led by HTS, consisting of the leftover bits of what passes for Al Qaeda and ISIS in Syria might already be seeing power slipping from their grasp as increasing amounts of civil disobedience and revulsion by groups already being targeted, including Christians, is taking place. Get all the details of that story in this video recommendation here as your suggested next watch. Please do also hit like, share and subscribe if you haven’t already done so to help support the channel and ensure you don’t miss new daily content, that is very much appreciated as well and I’ll hopefully catch you on the next vid.
