There is so much food variety in London and options are getting fancier and fancier, but nothing beats the old classics, such as fish and chips, Pie and Mash, or the full English Breakfast, in order to truly connect with the British capital. In this UK food review I am your food guide to the city of London, taking you to taste some classics culinary wonders:

1) Fish and chips at 📍 Josef Traditional Fish & Chips (https://goo.gl/maps/9RwEELZmd648TJsd9); this is not necessarily the best fish and chips in London but I felt inspired to try it as it so close to the beautiful Tower of London. It turned out to be way above my expectations, with the sizeable portion of perfectly crumbly and buttered fish, and the chunky chips!

2) Pie and Mash at 📍 F. Cooke Hoxton (https://goo.gl/maps/WjeddUShrHHcJfxm6) a legendary pie and mash place which has been in London for over 100 years! Eating the Pie mash and jellied eels in this authentic shop was like being brought back to 19th Century London!

1) The Full English Breakfast at 📍 Terry's Cafe (https://goo.gl/maps/cADz7qtFyk6TtZca9); this has become my new favourite English breakfast place, with the giant platter full of delicacies made in Britain. The Cumberland sausage here was to die for!

4) Spaghetti Bolognese (or 'Spag Bol' as they call it), at 📍 Spaghetti House Italian Restaurant Marble Arch (https://goo.gl/maps/DoisgoW8niPPvkEDA); again this is far from being one of the best Bolognese in London, but it's a true Londonese Bolognese, which I consider a completely different dish from the Italian version. Slight sweet rather than very tangy tomato sauce, spaghetti instead of tagliatelle... try this first before you go into one of those gourmet italian restaurant so that you get the difference!

5) Chicken Tikka Masala, a true London staple dish! Rumors says it's a dish invented in Glasgow but it has over time become an iconic London food!
