Active Killers Go Uncaught for Years

The FBI estimates there are 25-50 active serial killers in the U.S. at any given time. Many evade capture for years by targeting marginalized groups, like sex workers or homeless individuals, whose disappearances are less likely to be investigated thoroughly.
