Alpine archaeology in climate change

Even in early human history, the high mountain regions were repeatedly used for hunting, grazing or mining raw materials when the climate was warm enough. The melting Alpine glaciers have repeatedly uncovered archaeological sites in recent years, including in the Tyrolean Taschach Valley and on the Grossglockner in Carinthia.
