OFFERING AND SHOWING ACTS OF GRACE
Romans 12:21 New King James Version
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GANG!!!
There's something about not only what I read out of this morning scripture, but also from this devotional this morning from Sheridan Voysey that really deeply got me to thinking about what it means to offer and show grace to others, even those that we think don't deserve it, and/or won't appreciate it. I was especially challenged by what Sheridan shared of this very interesting book called About Grace, and how ultimately Herman Sheeler, was willing to show David Winkler that very grace that was so badly needed.
That's why tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has shown me throughout the years, not just on forgiveness, but what it means to offer and show acts of grace to those who truly need it, even if they don't appreciate it. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn how to with God's help, offer acts of grace to those who have wronged you! 😊
So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that you not only think about these questions, but I pray that you allow God to speak to you through them.
Whose acts of grace have inspired you in the past?
What act of grace could you offer someone today?
I want to challenge you tonight, with that last question from this morning's devotional, and ask God to show you who needs that act of grace in their life from you, and offer it. I know that isn't going to be easy, because especially if you've been the victim of SA, are affected by a criminal act from someone showing grace to that person isn't going to be easy. The cool thing is with this guys, is that you can show grace to someone, while still maintaining your boundaries and your mental sanity! I just pray but that you will be able to do what Herman was able to do concerning David, and that if there is someone in your life who has wronged you, that you will maintaining your boundaries, mental health and peace, show that person the grace that they so badly need. Because as Sheridan stated so very well, “In God's hands, our acts of grace toward those who've wronged us often result in a blessing to us.”
