An article about the Eclipse near the death of King Herod that argues for a 1 BC date and the need for more time for the events recorded by Josephus that followed the death of Herod. He argues against a 3 BC death for Herod at the start, but his later arguments to support 1 BC actually undermine his arguments against a 3 BC death and demonstrate why 3 BC is actually much more viable than the author is willing to admit in the article:
