Project | Building a Violin : Part 8, the arching

It's been quite some time since I've had an opportunity to continue working on my violin, but I've finally been able to get going again.

In part eight, I'm working on the arching of the plates. I start by using a Strad poster of a famous violin which was built on the same form. It's a bit distorted so I can only use them as a guide. This is a challenge for me as I'm not entirely sure how the final shape should look, but I'm also excited as things are really taking shape.
