The tsunami of 10.30.2020 in the Aegean Sea. Video of the impact in Karlovasi, island of Samos (GR)

The magnitude 7.0 earthquake that occurred on 30 October 2020 in the eastern Aegean Sea, between the island of Samos (Greece) and the southern coast of Turkey, generated a tsunami, observed mainly in the epicentral area. The tsunami waves reached the northwestern coast of the island of Samos within ten minutes of the main earthquake, and the Turkish coasts in less than 20 minutes. To the north of the island of Samos, following the earthquake, a retreat of the sea was observed.
