AAP-Congress Conflict In Delhi Puts INDIA Bloc On Shaky Ground Ahead Of Delhi Assembly Elections

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) dealt a severe blow to opposition unity today when it declared that if the Grand Old Party did not take action against its Delhi leader Ajay Maken, it would ask the INDIA alliance's parties to kick the Congress out of the bloc.

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi today charged that the Congress was aiding the BJP in advance of the February Delhi Assembly elections. "The Congress is making every effort to help the BJP win the election. On orders from the BJP, Ajay Maken targets AAP politicians, reads the BJP script, and makes accusations. Additionally, he went too far yesterday in calling our leader Arvind Kejriwal anti-national," Mr. Singh stated.
