A Thrilling Day of XC Skiing, Frozen Bubbles & Stargazing in Nordegg | Cabin Series

We continue our cabin video series by returning to David Thompson Country at a gorgeous little spot called Nature's Getaway Mountain Resort. We all know how difficult it can be to explore the mountains in the winter but finding cabins like these make it that much more easier. We stayed in a cabin called "The Cozy Bear" and spent an entire 24 hours soaking in all the features this place would give us. We started by enjoying the familiar vibes of Abraham Lake and it's famous frozen bubble features which lead us back to the resort grounds for more activities. I got to try cross country skiing for the first time in the Shunda Meadows & realized how difficult this sport can be! Then we got some true relaxing vibes by cooking a meal inside the cook house on cast iron & a wood stove then finished the night under the full moon hot tub while stargazing to the immense dark sky of the Canadian Rockies.

We would like to thank Jerry & Tanya for extending their home to us for a few days so we can show you guys all the awesome things you'll find in our mountain backyard. These small business owners work hard to offer their guests top notch services and this makes it all worth while even more.
