Discover the Magic of Rock Lake & Rocky Mountain Escape | Winter Cabin Series

We continue our cabin video series by staying a bit closer to home in Yellowhead County & explore the gorgeous Rock Lake Provincial Park. Located within the park boundaries you will find a small property nestled beside Mumm Creek called the Rocky Mountain Escape. The "escape" has three amazingly built log cabins that you can rent for the night to make it easier to explore this unpopular section of the Canadian Rockies. We showcase all the features you can expect in the cabins, cook some awesome meals on a griddle outside, enjoy some incredible stargazing in one of the largest dark sky preserves in Canada, a full day of winter hiking along Mumm Creek and some awesome winter driving to check out the westerly winter views of the superb Rock Lake.

We would like to thank Julia & Gary for greeting us for a few days so we can show you guys all the awesome things you'll find in their mountain backyard.
