My gratitude to newsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas, along with others, for helping shed light on Mark Swidan’s imprisonment in China. Swidan and two other Americans were released and are now returning to the United States, the White House said Wednesday.

I really want to thanked all those who helped get American Mark Swidan released from a Chinese prison, including NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas.

Swidan was one of three Americans released in a prisoner swap arranged by the Biden administration following years of negotiations with China that spanned three presidential administrations.
