Why Martial Law ?(South Korea being attacked by CH-NK backed political forces)

Since the end of the Korean War in 1953, North Korea has sought to implant its influence in South Korea and expand its ideology of Juche (self-reliance). As a result, over 80 years later, it is claimed that South Korea has seen three pro-North or North Korea-sympathizing presidents take power. During this time, North Korean spies and pro-North factions allegedly active within South Korea have been taking control of every administration in the nation.

On May 10, 2022, Yoon Suk-yeol assumed the presidency. However, this new president has been unable to implement policies effectively, with his hands figuratively tied. This has been attributed to obstructions from pro-North forces entrenched within the judiciary and public institutions, as well as impeachment attempts against officials in the new administration. There are further issues that South Korea’s executive branch, media outlets, and news agencies have long been dominated and manipulated by pro-North elements.

The decisive reason for President Yoon’s declaration of martial law (declared on 12/03/2024)is to halt the actions of these pro-North forces—particularly the opposition party, which holds a majority of parliamentary seats—and to prevent their alleged destruction of governance and the rule of law. This martial law is being described as a constitutional act to reveal and rectify what is claimed to be years of election fraud perpetrated by pro-North and pro-China political forces.

However, these pro-North and pro-China political factions, reportedly entrenched over decades, have mobilized the media and pro-North groups to spread false propaganda and engage in illegal activities. They are allegedly inciting violence and uprisings to impeach the president and falsely charge him with insurrection. South Korea is thus said to remain locked in a war of ideologies against pro-North and pro-China forces.
