Victim stabbed in throat by at Grand Central Terminal says no one came to her aid

A 26-year-old woman, Imani-Ciara Pizarro, was stabbed in the throat on Christmas Eve at Grand Central Terminal by 28-year-old Jason Sargeant.

Pizarro was attacked from behind while on a video call and received no immediate help from bystanders or police.

Despite running through the station seeking assistance, she found no officers present, and it was her neighbor who ultimately called 911.

After the attacker fled, Pizarro managed to reach the Roosevelt Hotel, where her wound was treated.

Sargeant, who has prior arrests, was later apprehended and charged with assault and multiple other offenses, the New York Post has reported.
