Short & Quick vs. Long & Efficient: Which Delivery Wins? ⚾💥

Joey demonstrated the difference between short, quick movements and using the full distance of the mound. Here’s what we learned:

❌ Short & Quick:
• High effort in a short space.
• Velocity was almost the same but came with higher effort and more strain on the body.
• These violent, high-intensity movements can tear up tissue and increase injury risk.

✅ Long & Efficient:
• Uses the full mound distance to build momentum.
• Delays the trunk, allowing more energy transfer through the kinetic chain.
• Effort is lower, velocity is better, and the delivery is way healthier for the arm and body.

If two deliveries generate the same velocity, always choose the one that’s slower and longer – it’s better for performance and durability. 🚀
